In pratica i primi due singoli, “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” e “Spirit Indestructible“, pubblicati rispettivamente ad aprile e luglio di quest’anno, hanno sollevato diverse critiche, molte delle quali negative, circa la riuscita di questo nuovo album della Furtado, quinto lavoro discografico in studio.
E così per favorire le vendite di “Spirit Indestructible”, Nelly spinge sull’accelleratore e sforna subito un video e un singolo più pop, meno audace di “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” e più allegro di “Spirit Indestructible”. Ma dopo aver ascoltato tre singoli, che in molti definiscono “di punta”, ci si può ritenere davvero soddisfatti di questo nuovo album?
Chissà! Certo è che la critica, l’opinione dei più, conta fino ad un certo punto; saranno i numeri delle vendite a dirci se le perplessità iniziali su “Spirit Indestructible” si siano rivelate infondate oppure completamente azzeccate.
